Here we are sitting in our Adelaide motel room a hop, step and a jump across from the airport.
Colleen Bratko is our Calgary Board of Education Link person and we are indebted to her for setting up our itinerary.
Here is the plan....
Wednesday 9th will be our settling in day after the long haul flight.
Thursday 10th we meet Colleen at The Calgary Board of Education Centre, a tour followed by finding out how the CBE is structured, see historical classroom and see Open Minds classroom, an overview of Education in Alberta. In the afternoon we will meet Learning Specialists.
Friday 11th is The Big Picture Day. We will be understanding Canada, the culture of Calgary and how it contributes to their success. This also includes a walking tour of the city.
The following week we spend a day in the following schools: Sir Winston Churchill High School, Western Canada High School, Centennial High School and Henry Wisewood School.
It's an early start for us but we are keen for the adventure to begin.
